🧵 Below is a link to a sound story I made with my partner Tom.
In it, sleight-of-hand magician, Fergus Anckorn talks about his experiences as a 24-year-old Artillery gunner during the Second World War.
Male magician, dressed in suit and bow tie. Hands spread out with thimbles on each of his spread out fingers.

Tati’s ‘Monsieur Hulot's Holiday’ was never gonna attract a huge audience, but the 20 people who turned up last night seemed to know what they were in for — people gigging quietly to themselves at different things.
The image is a black and white photograph depicting a beach scene. In the foreground is a man wearing a bathing suit and sun hat, with a towel draped over his shoulders, standing in front of a big pole. The pole is between his back and his towel. In the background, there's a small building with a decoration on top, with its doors slightly ajar. To the right of the chapel, there is another man standing near a piece of machinery, possibly a beach cleaning or maintenance device.

From last night’s pub.
No picture credit available.
The photo shows a dachshund on a weighing scale outside a pub. The photo is in black and white. The dog, is standing on the scale's platform, with a leash attached to the weighing machine. A person is standing beside the scale, their back to the viewer. In the background, there's the pub window, with empty beer glasses on a window cill.

Do you know who took this photo?

I let my son watch ‘The Thing’ at an early age. Don’t think it did any lasting damage.

In Brighton, to see ‘Monsieur Hulot's Holiday‘. I see a young couple and say, “Ahh, so sweet.“ Mr L‘s response, “They look like they’re made out of coconut matting these youngsters.”

Looking through old photos (like one does).
I took a snap of a cow in January 2021.
A field with a cow in it. The cow looks black on a pink field.

The painting is of a nude woman reclining on a bed. The colour palette is dominated by warm browns and tans. The woman is lying on her side with one arm raised behind her head. She is gazing at the viewer.

🤣 “I’m not waving my card over for a 2p fork.”

Thank you Patrick, with hot, steaming gravy to top it off. Love the sliced white bread too, as if there isn’t enough carbohydrates already. :)

I love the colour of these berries.
Mix that colour? Lots of blue?
Berries on a tree. Deep crimson colour.

What’s Rag Pudding?
Hilarious you have to pay 2p for a fork.
