I would add to this list: our medications are immunosuppressants, so we may shy away from situations where sick people gather. A cold could send us to the hospital. #chronicillness

It is amazing, once one gets outside of the conservative evangelical bubble, how many folks with a more liberal view toward social issues have their views rooted in a deep understanding of Christian faith.

I'm just thinking maybe you should consider it. If all those people who believed the NFL scripted the season for the Chiefs would bet on them, imagine how many people would find themselves in a financial windfall.

This is the only thing that gives me some peace about the election. They'll soon see what it's like to get what they wanted.
Iโll never forget my New Testament professor telling me that sometimes Godโs wrath in the Bible looks like just letting people have the king they demanded. The world they wanted. The reality they voted for.

This is why staffing Congress with folks who don't possess even a Schoolhouse Rock level understanding of our government is a massive mistake. Our electorate has, for years, just been tossing human spaghetti at the walls to see what sticks, and now we're paying for it.
