Now is the time to write to Sussex ICB challenging their current attempts to enforce referral of existing patients, receiving legally prescribed puberty blockers or hormones, to the newly formed CYPGS service which cannot prescribe or support gender affirming medical care.

Diary 7: I finally slept properly last night. My body shut down and I had no choice. I woke up aching but determined. After the GP refused her care, she started to slip away. We watched her fade while the NHS looked away. Every day she’s safe is worth fighting for. I’m tired, but I’m not finished.

Diary 6: I almost didn’t check in tonight. My body feels done. This journey has been so long, and it started with the naïve belief that all we needed was to talk to a GP. We were told it was a “safe space” and sent away with nothing. I’m tired, but I’m still here.

Diary 5: I’m tired to my bones, but I’m still showing up. My daughter is safe for now, and so many others aren’t. That’s why I’m writing. If you’re another worn-out parent trying to protect your child, I’m right alongside you. Fighting tired is still fighting.

3 - To hear he is still in touch with the abusive parents torturing their children, says it all. He made a choice, he chose to only keep in touch with those parents. He heard children were dying and instead chose to listen to the abusers.
