@bestforbritain.org have done great work with their template encouraging supporters to write to their local newspapers and we are flattered that they have used one of our letters in this campaign update.✊
Ahead of tomorrow's budget, readers have written to their local newspapers to say that Brexit has failed. Their letters reminded the public and policymakers of the economic damage done by Brexit.

We can’t leave #Farage & #ReformUK to “investigate” Russian influence in their own party!

“If you are going to speak of the damage, you must be honest about where the responsibility lies. But it is not acceptable to acknowledge the harm without offering solutions to undo as much of it as we can”

Last week Reforms Nathan Gill was sentenced to 10.5 years in gaol for accepting Russian bribes. This raised questions about Farage but the bigger question is how much does Russia interfere in our politics and democracy?

“…it’s time to address the elephant in the room of British politics. It is one that everyone else can see across Europe; and opinion polls tell us the public is way ahead of Westminster. To paraphrase James Carville, it’s the Brexit, silly.”
Why 'it's the Brexit, stupid' should be the political slogan of our times
As Chancellor Rachel Reeves prepares the Budget, she’s missing an estimated £40 billion a year in tax revenues because the UK left the European Union

Some #Brexit fans still in denial about economic harm of leaving #EuropeanUnion, says Vice Chair @jazz072.bsky.social in this @yorkshirepost.co.uk letter: "Be honest about 'sovereignty' costs." Rachel Reeves may have changed her mind over income tax but what about Brexit at the Budget?
November 16, 2025 at 8:49 AM
"Nobody really knew for sure what a vote for leaving the EU meant almost a decade ago. This time there are plenty of warning signs for what a Farage led government might look like, and it's not pretty." Our latest letter in this morning's Yorkshire Post.

“This summer's "reset" deal with the EU might add about 0.3 percent to GDP in the long term, while the trade and investment deal with Gulf countries, unveiled by Reeves two weeks ago, will "add £1.6bn to UK GDP". That's, er, 0.07 percent of GDP.”
Private Eye | Brexit : Dreaded 'B' word
AT THE heart of Rachel Reeves's fiscal dilemma lies Britain's flatlining productivity, and it's now clearly time to admit the baleful influence on this of Brexit.
