I feel like if I had taught English in Japan like some of my friends did in our 20s, I would be hyper Korean while there.

But not in a Korean way. In an obnoxious american way.

Like Korean flag jackets and soju bottles in all my pockets, while yelling in a texan accent about the imjin war.

There is so much going on, and youtube is a tiny corner of it. but if you have the ability, i implore you to support some creators out there. it's a rough time.

To be clear, I DON'T MEAN ME. I'm ok.

but show some love to your favorite youtubers if you can.

I haven't commented much about it, but much like most of my fellow youtuber friends, my last video was the worst performing video that i have had in years.

to those who watched/shared/hyped it, i thank you.

once again i am grateful that youtube isn't my job.

any folks have cheap steam sale recommendations?

Criteria:
1) the game has turned based or pause so that i can leave it alone if i am called away by my kiddos
2) under $10
3) a satisfying gaming experience can be had in 10 minutes of play.

I am not here to get your recommendation for fav game.

Im pretty sure many of my creator friends dont watch my videos. And I dont really care. It's cool if you do, if you enjoy them. But your 1 view isn't tipping the scales on me "making it big."

I'm more into the solidarity of making art and pouring your soul into it, then releasing to the world

Its awkward for creators friends because we have to dance around "do you like my stuff." As if that should affect a friendship.

I dont care if a fellow creator watches my stuff. I dont promote videos as an tit-for-tat.

I boost what I like, im not taking notes on who isnt boosting my stuff.

Had a second session with draw steel. Both the players and i are getting more used to the rules.

Gotta say, I'm really liking the combat. Player characters felt like cinematic heroes taking our room fulls of bad guys while still getting dinged all over.

Kind of like a jackie chan movie.

It is underrated. The legal profession can be very fulfilling. I love nerding out on judicial opinions.

Also, never too late if you are still interested. I was a non-traditional law student, and many of my friends and classmates were older than I am now.

it is not. GI Robot is actually an old dc comics character from, i think, the 60s. i believe he showed up in a Sgt Rock comic book. it was before my time, but during my dad's time reading comics.

Ive only watched about 15 minutes of creature commandos, but i already love GI Robot. He is an instant classic.

So "Golden" from kpop demon hunters has spanish and french versions.
The issue i have is that neither version retain the Korean language lines from the original.
I cant help but feel that is a missed opportunity. Personally, a spanish language Golden with the korean in it would have been magical.

You have a conversation with someone where country to convince them of something. It showcases discussion vs debate, but also can tackle fun or important topics ranging from trans rights to convincing folks to watch a TV show or to start enjoying a band.

I went into college as pre-med before shifting to pre-law after my first year.

If The Pitt is anywhere near as accurate as people say it is, I could not be more grateful for the switch.

Great show, but f that noise. I was not cut out to be a doctor.

The collective ignoring of the situation in Sudan breaks my heart.

Seeing the original genocide in Darfur was a catalyst for me. It was the first time I got politically active, back in 2004.

And there are no flotillas, no award speeches, and very little protests calling for governments to act.

over 150,000 killed. 700,000 children malnourished (with likely over half a million starved already) and 12 million displaced.
These are staggering numbers.
I don't know what the world needs for it to act. but we aren't making any noise for leaders to listen to.
