NY Progress post. Starting point. Def feeling a lot softer after a bad December with sickness. A bit more fat to shift that I would have liked! Two different lighting sources so I have the frame of reference.

2025 wasn't the best year. MH was tanked for most of it largely due to job stuff pretty much and its def meant finding enjoyment in usual hobbies hard. Was some good. Cons, Paris trip and squatting 150kgs were some. And really getting into MTG has been immense fun as well!

..the issue is the usual dickheads in your gym and anytime that school's out and kids use the gym as a hangout spot with no respect for anyone else or the equipment👍💪🤘

I always loosen the diet Nov-Dec but I still don't really overdo it until Xmas and the workouts don't change. Combination of lingering sickness, injury and MH shit meant Dec was trash for the gym and I have put on way more fat than I intended with no real extra muscle..

So I'm at the "fucked hearing" stage of this flu crap it seems. Week 1, all the symptoms, week 2 hacking cough, week 3 is going to be slight cough but hearing dropped by like 50% by the looks of things....what a fun December its been🙃

Ngl its been a failure of a bulking season. Injuries and lingering sickness keeping me down. Just gained fat😅 But...managing to shift 60kg dips! Plan is to get to the stage of being able to do these and pull ups with someone on my back... 😛

Went over to give Max some attention and as I let him sniff my finger, static discharge went right onto his nose. Saw the little spark and everything. He shook his head a lot, stood up and went and laid down in the bathroom instead and now I feel bad...😅😫😅

So the gig tonight was fun. I was very low energy but all the bands were pretty good especially Orbit Culture. But..is it normal for the lighting at Electric Ballroom to show the people on stage like shadows? Eventually got better for Orbit Culture but didn't really see the openers...😅
