Agree. I hate to throw any cold water on what he has accomplished, but he needs a better speechwriter. His acceptance speech had some good lines, but could have been much more effective.

The Florida Supreme Court's refusal to require a discipline complaint to go forward against AG Bondi is disappointing but not surprising. This just strengthens her belief that she is untouchable. (For now.)

Disappointing that Perkins Coie reacted to the backlash and fired a lawyer for negative comments about Kirk. Also somewhat ironic.

Millions of dollars worth of contraceptives destined for low-income countries were destroyed at the direction of the Trump administration.

3/ None of this is normal. If Republicans continue to view themselves as Trump's employees, instead of an independent branch charged with checking runaway executive power, the damage to our democracy will be fatal.

There are so many reasons why it would be a terrible idea for the Florida Supreme Court to agree an ethics investigation against Bondi cannot proceed. And unfortunately, it is likely that's exactly what the court will decide.
