This is fascinating/sad.

As someone who really doesn’t enjoy cooking, I have a couple of sites/bloggers I like and otherwise I’ll generally SCOUR recipes and their reviews and comments before ever trying something new bc I can’t stand wasting money and time on something that doesn’t come out good.
NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.

With the 2026 election approaching, TX state Sen. Paul Bettencourt (R) appears to be filing a complaint that activates his own 2023 bill (SB1933), which was written to target ONLY Harris County (Houston) and could trigger putting it under state "administrative oversight"

As a survivor of the Tulsa Race Massacre, Viola Ford Fletcher bravely shared her story so that we’d never forget this painful part of our history. Michelle and I are grateful for her lifelong work to advance civil rights, and send our love to her family.
