like sometimes its like. Easier to live in that haze of denial u know. Once u realize the magnitude of the manipulation and abuse it becomes unbearable to live w ur abuser, to interact w him even in good moods…. it’s crazy how long i was in denial like years of my life bro….

apologizing to him over the phone or whatever for minutes and minutes on end and her friend was just waiting for her quietly it suddenly hit her that this was . not normal. this was actually really awful and abnormal and she hated it… i think there’s many cases kind of like this …..

a friend who was in an abusive relationship once told me she realized it when she was at her school org and he kept calling her the entire time and demanding her time and attention so she couldnt actually participate in the org or talk to friends, and while she was in the bathroom

like an abuse victim is made to feel that they deserve the abuse. but sometimes that belief breaks bc there’s no way they deserve this extreme a response to their actions. This to me is THE time for realizing the situation theyre in..

idk smth abt abuse is that to the victim it can look justified when their abuser tells them they r stupid and awful over X action, like maybe they r stupid! but sometimes its over smth so tiny innocuous and meaningless that an abuser lashes out that it shatters the victims beliefs abt deserving it..

in a traumatic breakdown where u push away the person u care about and embrace something that literally kills you. like denji basically embraces Miri sugo to kill him and be killed, except he’s immortal … like its just raw as fuck man. he should have been hugging nayuta and running away…..

wait speaking of . Ppl say hes undercooked but i thought that Miri sugo being denjis foil and attempting to escape being weaponized and exploited and just winding up. Weaponized and exploited AND killed by denjis self harm spiral was raw as fuck… like smth so sick about killing The Self (ur foil)

girls are. Like not just makima a bunch of the women are varied characters w depth and agency… and 99% of them are terrible ppl 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶 i actually think there’s some interesting men as well (Miri sugo our shining star..) but its so true that the women take the spotlight
