The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

On the execution in Minnesota: Obviously, the individuals involved should be held accountable. But responsibility goes to the top of ICE and CBP, and DHS. Their appropriations come up next week in the senate. Not a cent for DHS without pulling ICE and CBP off the streets, in MN and everywhere else.

Has anyone on the Sunday morning news shows asked Bessent about why the UST were checking rates in USDJPY for the first time since Fukushima or has it all been about his toady pissing match with Carney?
That the same guy who backs an FX policy move designed to stabilize and improve politics/finance/trade linkages in interAsian & US-Asian relations suggests that the US back the breakup of Canada that same morning is a little odd.
