This is the first photo I took in Ukraine, after crossing the border on the 12th of May 2023.
The plan was to volunteer for 3 months.
904 days later, still here & I can't imagine living anywhere else.
It's impossible not to not fall in love with this country & its people.

I don't know who needs to hear this but if you're having a defeatist discourse, encouraging a complacency or acceptance of russia’s actions because "russia is too strong" or "there's nothing we can do to stop russia", you're spreading russian propaganda.

Debunking lies online is one thing but what about when it's a member of your family? When a loved one is absorbed in conspiracy theories? It doesn’t just change their beliefs but the shared reality you used to have.

Why is it always "if you help Ukraine defend itself from us, you'll be at war with us" but never "if you keep attacking us with drones, cutting our undersea cables, jamming our airspace, interfering in our elections, etc. you'll be at war with us"?🤔
