That said, have I thought of what I’d say to him in the event he popped back up? Oh, a lot. And it’s not very nice. But I’m going to take my feelings and emotions out of it, because it’s not about me. It’s about her.

Thank you. I realize she’s an adult, and should be the only one to determine if she wants any kind of relationship with him. I still feel a strong need to protect her, that will never change. I’ve made a concerted effort to never say bad things about him to her or around her

I don’t think so. I’m not even entirely sure how he got her number. The only one from him family I speak to is his sister- and we haven’t spoken in 2 or 3 years.
