I was working out if I was trans or not and when I wanted to ask them for input "You're not sure you're trans? Don't talk to me until you figure it out." with the implication that I had best come back with the "right" answer.

the shitty thing about an ex you're with for such a long time that disliked and shamed/guilted you for your turn ons and kinks is that you're left always wanting some sort of acknowledgement/reassuring that what you enjoy and makes you feel happy is acceptable and not gross and weird...
