For absolutely no real reason whatsoever, I spent the weekend creating a patch for Bug! and Bug Too! to run on modern Windows

Bug!er Up fixes Windows 11 compatibility; adds support for XInput controllers, removes the CD-ROM requirement and allows custom soundtracks.

Holy shit this Ocarina of Time mod that makes it… a Zelda-themed Ace Attorney game?!

Runs on real hardware and supports the Hey You Pikachu mic for yelling “Objection!”

A N64 screenshot of a polygonal witness on a stand with text reading “the defendant was unconscious right in front of the victim, who is bleeding out on the floor.” A screenshot of a Nintendo 64 game. Linked from Zelda is wearing a blue suit and pointing in the same style as Phoenix Wright. Text reads “What if they jumped out a window?!”

I wish it were possible to play games without feeling like I’m wasting time 😭

I believe they shipped with configuration discs but I’ve not been able to confirm if they are required or not.

I got the software from olympus support but they quit replying to my requests after awhile which is understandable as this microscope is no longer supported.

Does anyone happen to have access to or know someone who has access to an Olympus Lext OLS3000 or OLS3100? Been unable to get mine to work and I don’t think its hardware failure but I have very little information as to how things should work.

Herman miller wanted $700 CAD to replace my 10 year old seat cushion.

Time to add amateur reupholstery to my skill set. My backbone will enjoy this greatly.

Old cushion for comparison.
Herman Miller Sayl chair disassembled and seat placed next to it with fabric removed and new foam being cut to shape Photo of same chair after foam installation showing a very comfortable and plump seat rest Old cushion placed on top of the new finished chair to show difference in support. Old cushion only slightly softer than a sheet of cardboard

I'm so concerned for the fate of the hobby electronics industry in the US.

I have friends who run small online shops selling modern hobby retro gear and it feels like, at least for now, it's going to end in short order.

No one can absorb these tariffs.
