NEW: The Scottish Government has announced new investment to roll-out opt-out HIV testing in A&Es in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

This will save lives and put Scotland back in a position to be the first country in the world to end new HIV cases by 2030.

We know at BASHH that yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling brings uncertainty and worry amongst the communities we serve and our membership. We are pleased to see the Court clearly re-affirm the Equality Act 2010 protects all trans people against discrimination, based on Gender Reassignment, and will continue to do so. We are committed to upholding our principles of good sexual health care for all. Our doors have always been open and will continue to be open for everyone. ”
