I get the impression that Americans believe they can just elect a president who is a tad less crazy than this one and everyone will be friends with the US again. I don´t think that will happen. The US will not recover from this anytime soon. A fair share of Europeans see you as enemies now.

This crap just got personal. ICE detained our friend and contractor just after he had left our house. He was stopped on Aurora Avenue in N. Seattle. He has a severely disabled teenage son and his wife can't leave their house. As responsible and honest as they come. And they impounded his car! Yuck
