"You want anything to eat?" Lex offered. The set of holes would have shaken her head mutely. Jenna said, I said, a bit tartly, "I think I've already been fed quite a lot, thanks?" Lex chuckled, but Mac frowned—I couldn't see his face, on the other side of Jim, but I heard it in his voice. "Are you okay, Jenna? Was that too much? 'Cause that was a lot." It had been a lot, so very close to what it was simulating. But I'm all the way back now, like fingers pushing down into the tips of a glove. "Yeah, that was too much, all right," I sigh, happily. "That was fucking perfect, gentlemen."
