On the 16 September 1907, a bust of writer Gerald Griffin was unveiled at the former Creagh Lane, Christian Brothers School. Previously a courthouse for the trial of the murder of the "Colleen Bawn" (Ellen Hanley).

A copy of "Letters on Animal Magnetism" by Limerick born Mary Crumpe (1793-1861) from Harry Houdini's personal library and now the US Library of Congress. The publication held original 1845 letters from the poet Thomas Moore to Mary Crumpe about her work.

It was a lovely way to spend a Wednesday evening.
Such a treat! It was full house yesterday evening at MIC Limerick for the “Irish of Brittany” show by amazing Breton artists Veronique Bourjot, Brewen Favrau, Soazig Hamelin and Kevin Le Pennec, preceded by a fascinating introductory talk on Irish migration to Brittany by Dr Éamon Ó Ciosáin. 1/1
