On the 16 September 1907, a bust of writer Gerald Griffin was unveiled at the former Creagh Lane, Christian Brothers School. Previously a courthouse for the trial of the murder of the "Colleen Bawn" (Ellen Hanley).

A copy of "Letters on Animal Magnetism" by Limerick born Mary Crumpe (1793-1861) from Harry Houdini's personal library and now the US Library of Congress. The publication held original 1845 letters from the poet Thomas Moore to Mary Crumpe about her work.

Yesterday I went to Clonmel Pride. It is so lovely to go to smaller Pride events. Might have been less than 100 in the parade but there was still a lot of support from the sidelines. #speirgorm
