If people post videos of violence without caveat or warning any time they see an image of someone with a flag in a timeline I'm going to assume they just enjoy posting that stuff.

The flag-shaggers are unlikely to give a toss, some of them would cheer it on.

So 24 to 35 is a "kid" when it comes to taking responsibility, but people coerced and raped by Epstein and others in his orbit are always described as "women" despite many of them being children at the time.

Unfortunately it seems your checks & balances depended on the person in the Whitehouse playing by the rules and being reasonable and the co-equal branches asserting the power they have to actually balance

George III didn't rule by executive fiat. British kings haven't done that for a very long time

Also during George III periods of mental illness, parliament stepped in, appointed his son as Regent etc. He wasn't roaming around giving speeches and making laws by fiat and that was something he couldn't do anyway.

Trump wants the kind of power of decree British kings haven't had for centuries, George III included.

I'd argue he's more like Henry VIII. George III wasn't considered a tyrant in Britain.

Calls are dotted all over a wide area. Everyone is pushed for time and travelling in different directions.

This is advice that's completely impractical to anyone doing the job.

I've worked as a carer in the community.

I never travelled in a group, you turn up solo to most calls and meet there if it's a call that needs two people. I think I gave a colleague a lift twice the whole time I did the job, and then it wasn't their entire journey.

No it's marriage you need permission for under 18.

It used to be under 21 for marriage. My Dad needed permission from his parents (and his commanding officer because he was in the army) to marry my Mum.

The age of consent hasn't changed in the UK. It's still 16.

It's illegal at 18 if it's a person with responsibility for them like a teacher or coach.

Either way, what the law is where you are is what counts and some girls were under 16 and many trafficked to other territories to be exploited.
