I mean like look at this, look at the boy, I already did all that work on him to get him accurate and cleaned up (and he's literally the only one who's 1024, but that's neither here nor there) and the new portraits' crop cant even fill 512x512 without having to be resized up 😬

One thing I noticed about some of these high res portraits that dropped is that they sometimes have white spots around the lines? So like iiuic, when they were converted from TIF white was applied in place of the transparent bg🤔some of these spaces around the filled in colors were also transparent?

I got these vinyl record frames to protect/display Shinkaku & Across the Kosmos / Worlds. It was a 3-pack, but just for 2026 I can put this in instead of Chrono Cross' vinyl

Just played a 4-player game of Mario Party 1 by myself to test whether the individual joycons would work as their own controllers in the minigames bc I have only 2 other full controllers and I was like, how many of those can be played on a single joycon? Can say it was a success.

Looking at the Wafū Getsumei names just now, reading about Kannazuki (ie kannazuki mermaid, aka october mermaid) I recognized a few of the lunar months' names. They're 3 of Hyuuga's brothers' names.
Kisaragi=February, Yayoi=March, & Satsuki=May.
They all seem to be themed around Spring in some way.

Okay so I dove back in for a bit of finagling around with aspect ratios finally, going off what the PWB page said about XG's true native aspect ratio being *near* to 3:2, and honestly... 3:2 doesn't look bad with portraits being unedited (like, not stretched/cropped to accommodate),
