Omg that was amazing. I was already thinking near the end that if we were to rewatch it right away... I'd be totally up for that. And then sis looked over at me with a blank yet amazed expression when the credits started rolling and said something like "wanna rewatch it?" 😆

Anything that leaves you in long atmospheric moments with no dialogue, only music, that puts you in a trance, that's one of my favorite kinds of scenes. Something this movie has already done a few times. Something I understand movies don't really do these days (I'm really not a movie watcher)

Finally giving Ghost in the Shell a proper watch. It's gorgeoussss

It's like the perfect thing to follow up with after Xenosaga.

Xenoblade▶️Xenogears▶️Xenosaga▶️GitS/other such scifi is like the perfect transition out of only being into fantasy and into an obsession with sci-fi and transhumanism

I feel ya about the armor. Overly designed designs are one reason why I don't draw much Xenoblade lol
It's a good excuse to draw them in modern clothes tho. Malos looking good in slacks and dress shoes

More deliberate than simply a green color scheme with the yellows coming from skin tones, other scenes had yellow-orange rugs or wallpaper in the shots

I don't know how many times I've rewatched X-Files over the years, but every time with episodes past season 2 it's like I'm seeing them for the first time again bc I've forgotten most of it all since lol

X-Files S03E05 "The List" has some beautiful lighting/cinematography. I realized pretty early on they've got a green & yellow-orange color scheme going on the entire episode. As soon as I noticed it I kept seeing it, scene after scene.
It's a color pair I wanna use in my art sometime
