It's a bit maddening to put the onus of meteorology on a rodent with a poor understanding of the subject. Gophers, on the other hand, are far more reliable barometers of these things.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

I adore the movie as it is, but the Special Edition is fantabulous. The scene right before Ripley's descent into the Alien Queen's hive where she and Hicks reveal their first names to each other?
