If you’re not sure what to put in alt text, start with who or what is featured in the image or gif.

If it’s a meme, you can say if’s the ___ meme and describe what it depicts.

You can DEFINITELY include any captions or words associated or spoken in it!

Something I want to remind y’all about alt text for images:

You don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to try.

It makes your skeets more accessible to people who want to participate but who also need extra support to do so.

People are also more likely to rs if you use alt text.
