I’ve been playing this and yeah, it’s really dang good. Takes what’s great about some of my favorite 3D platformers and mushes them together. The movement mechanics of Mario Odyssey, the level design of Galaxy, the openness of Jak and Daxter. Well worth your time and money

I’ve been playing this and yeah, it’s really dang good. Takes what’s great about some of my favorite 3D platformers and mushes them together. The movement mechanics of Mario Odyssey, the level design of Galaxy, the openness of Jak and Daxter. Well worth your time and money
Love this take, competition is the lowest form of praise. We can do better.
This is also why I hate Top 10 lists and awards shows, because as much fun as they can be to observe and think about, I hate what making art compete against art does to us. I don’t want to deal with the inevitable Sinners vs One Battle After Another debate. I wanna celebrate having two amazing films
I hate the online reaction cycle that praises a piece of art a lot and uses it as an example of what’s good about the medium but then the moment it gets awards or enough acclaim or fandom, suddenly we have to talk about how it’s actually not really that good and it’s overrated and always sucked
