All things considered, the GenAI BS is making me weirdly nostalgic for Deep Leffen's brand of GenAI

We didn't know better back then... About Leffen or GenAI for that matter

I think the root of Tekken 8's issues lie in the fact that it didnt launch as an arcade game. Not because that's basically a beta test for the eventual console release like 7, but because they lost the part of them that made sure the video game wished the operator a good morning

Love that AI, a thing we hate and don’t want, steals everything, ruins everything, shittifies everything. Drinks our water, plagiarizes our art, pisses all over our information fidelity, drives kids to suicide, serves the right-wing, and fucks up our devices and services. Good job, techbros!

Filling in the My Hero Academia All's Justice feedback form with the only suitable feedback from someone who hasn't played the game (NGL I should have asked for LAN mode as well)

Burnout 3 is underrated as one of the very, very best games of all time because you can show Burnout 3 footage to people two decades later and their reaction will still be "hell yeah, this rules. I wanna play this right now."

I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.

I am still hoping that we will one day get Nintendo's most forgotten handheld console on Nintendo Classics.

That's right, if they can release the Virtual Boy on Nintendo Classics, they can easily release the Pokémon mini and all its games. There's many gems there.
