For Comic Square in March, I'm thinking of publishing a TKAI encyclopedia (bw manga) accompanied by a series of essays about Nomadic vs Sedentary diaspora in the late medieval era! Don't know if I'll make it with the deadline... but if not it'll be something I do in the back burner nxt year!

Just finished reading RF Kuang's Yellow Face in two sittings. It had to be two, since it took me courage to finish the last half through nausea. The book's engineered to psychologically stab writers of color, especially diaspora writers with trauma around being misread or punished for trying.

Trying to study more color theory from other artists' speed-paints and I'm baffled. They look so simple yet when I try to follow their clips I'm like--huh??? HOW DID YOU GET FROM THERE TO THERE? (Slowing the clip down doesn't help)
