This morning I ran the 50th Marine Corps Marathon in D.C., my 10th marathon and a special one during the Marine Corps’ 250th year.

Deploying National Guard troops to another state with 24 hours’ notice is unacceptable. It tears them from their families for political stunts and disrespect.
