On this day 5 years ago I vowed to write every day, not just when the time was right. I started using a sticker chart. I learned to write little bits whenever I could grab them. I didn't miss a day for 2.5 years and still write most days. I've written over 20 scripts since.

This one hits hard. My cousins are still there. We have long conversations in the middle of the night when she hides in her bathtub during the air raids. I cross reference maps after attacks when she loses reception. A building 800m from her was bombed this year.

Made Costco and nachos plans with a friend today. Walked out of Costco talking excitedly about everything I was going to put on the nachos... realized I forgot to buy chips. Lucky it happened BEFORE we drove back to my place!
