Affordability isn’t a “hoax”, it’s a crisis. Americans are working harder than ever and still choosing between groceries, rent, and medicine. Denying that reality isn’t a difference of opinion, it’s a failure of leadership.

Yes, fraud should be addressed, but the system is the problem. And despite the fear-mongering, “illegal aliens” aren’t eligible for SNAP. If a child asks for bread, don’t hand them a stone. No child should have to prove they deserve food, especially in the wealthiest country.

Never in my 25 years practicing as an immigration lawyer have I seen immigration enforcement act with such cruelty. No child or adult deserves to be treated this way. There is no excuse or justification for this behavior. We are meant to be defenders of human rights, not offenders.
