Last night, at 02:13 UTC, an account by the name of openai.bluesky.bot began adding followers of listifications to a list. The list claimed to opt its members into the scraping of their posts to be used for AI training, it also implied that we were partnered with them.

This was 100% false.

In situations where someone creates a list just to spam you. It's only delayed by that long if the list is considered spammy (e.g. adding people rapdily) and we're always tweaking the rules on this. So if you see a list that shouldn't have been delayed do let us know so we can adjust things.

If this happens again, please do share which notifications you are expecting to receive that you haven't. Most of the time when we get messages like this it turns out that the person didn't receive any notifications because they didn't get added to any lists or blocked recently.

We’d love to help if we can. We’ve already been thinking about implementing notifications for various other custom lexicons on ATProto.

It would be great to help expose more users to the wide variety of ATProto apps that are out there.

No, you can't do it. The Clearsky developers need to change Clearsky so it doesn't show deleted lists and/or lists by suspended accounts.

Ah, sorry, I missed the starter packs. Looks like those were delayed by our spam filter because folks were added to those starter packs very quickly. Will try to adjust our thresholds to fix this.
