That really kinda sucks. I would have loved to see an entire trilogy by him
The sequel trilogy was among other things, hampered by having to close out a story that multiple generations grew up with. That's a hard task on a good day
But to see Rian helm an original trilogy would have been awesome

Obviously where you're off is that you forgot to multiply by the "Are they winning or losing" variable in there. And that number is also modified by adding in the sum of "How much money did they spend to Get Gud"

Now their task becomes the goal of finding out a new source to get that info/McGuffin that they know they missed out on
That they have to deal with the consequences of their actions gives them more agency than just quietly inserting your own plan B into it as they stumble along

But what I find more fun is to turn the fact that they missed something into the next plot hook. Make it obvious to the players that they screwed up and missed key info.

Seems like there is some πΏπ΄ going around...
For some folks there are better entry points to #ttrpg games than #dnd or #pathfinder or the like. Some folks just want big narrative driven roleplaying and they thrive with minimal accoutrements or rails.

Loved this show. Have the DVD box set of it still

Gotta say I do not miss having conversations with players like this that act like Magic has to be completely logical. They always want everything to adhere to the spells listed in PHB otherwise "It doesnt make sense"

I'm really hoping its the about Baskin Robbin's 32nd flavor or the one where Gnomes hate even numbers. That's why 1 sock disappears, or just one screw goes missing

Watched the first episode of #RoninWarriors / #SamuraiTroopers
Its a continuation of the old show, not a reboot which is kinda cool. There's a lot more killing in it, although that's me comparing it to the US release of old show

So I need to stop buying model kits until I finish assembling at least some of thatπ
