Agreed. Worker ownership would also be effective.
A study using government data finds that if all businesses became 30% employee-owned, the bottom 90% would experience significant gains in wealth, with much of the benefits going to marginalized groups.

If we're serious about addressing wealth inequality, worker ownership must be at the forefront.

Georgia farmers - this crisis is coming to us. Marjorie Taylor Greene is doing nothing to help. We need a leader who understands the diversity and complexity of modern day farming and who is focused on making it right for small and medium sized family farms. I am that leader.

Apprenticeships are a proven way to get folks connected with good-paying jobs and to help businesses hire talented employees. My LEAP Act would help young people entering the workforce and support Main Street by giving small businesses a tax credit when they hire apprentices.

Don't run America like a business where only the CEO gets rich.

America should be run like a HOUSEHOLD where people take care of each other, work for each other, sacrifice for each other, and help each other succeed!

There’s no reason why companies can’t just provide LUNCH to their employees without making them fight for it. We’ve built ours to always be owned by labor, and there are many others out there. Support employee-owned businesses!!
Many of you might be interested in organizing LUNCH at work.

LUNCH is actually a lot easier than you may think. You can in fact do it right now, especially if you find yourself suddenly having fewer coworkers to invite out to LUNCH.

Others who have gone for LUNCH are very happy to advise

We love to see progress being made in the regulatory space!

When the big guys are allowed to undercompensate and play the game unethically, it creates unfair competition for those of us doing business in a non-exploitative manner.
This Equal Pay Day, we’re reminded that equal work deserves equal pay.

That’s why here in Illinois, we’ve:
Raised the minimum wage ✔️
Ensured fair compensation for workers with disabilities ✔️
Increased pay and salary transparency ✔️

Javier harvested mandarin oranges in Fresno, CA, for 5 years. The price per bin has remained unchanged at $65. It takes 3-4 hrs & 4,000 mandarines to fill one bin. On some days, they only make 1 1/2 bins, which isn't enough to pay their bills & feed their families. #WeFeedYoul
