I learned the Hollander translation was pretty solid and have always stuck with that. Not very up on what other translations are good.

Tell him to find a decent copy of the Poetic Edda. Snorri Sturluson was hard Christian when he wrote it, but this was a time when religions were a bit more get-along. He wrote the Eddas from a Christian filter, whether he wanted to or not.

I love Coppola’s “Dracula” absolutely love it. I learned a fun new fact today: In beginning scene where Dracula stabs the cross, and blood is going everywhere, and he drinks it, and then roars, Oldman couldn’t get the roar down. Who did Coppola get to do it? Lux Interior from the Cramps.
