Corallorhiza maculata, spotted coralroot, refers to the underground rhizomes, which resemble ocean coral and
maculata which means spotted. Parasitic non- photosynthetic orchid it spans most it steals the nutrients of the miccorizal fungus, so there must be Russula here! #spottedcoralroot
