Looking to organize against Central Hudson, any groups out there mobilizing?

Just started a bunch of seeds inside for the garden this spring, and was thinking that every neighborhood should organize seed swaps from their own gardens! Would be a great way to meet neighbors + free plants!

After spending countless hours… (months of my life) uprooting horrible spikey thickets of invasive plants… nothing hurts my heart more than seeing people irl & online plant these plants on purpose. Talk to your local native plant nursery, and do your research before you put something in the ground!

One thing I love about horticulture in this exact decade is that we are super aware of which invasive species must be destroyed, and which native plants will save the soil, birds, and bees. My brain craves the sort of black and white thinking that every other facet of human life doesn’t allow for.

3. the permanent and humiliating destruction of my electric utility company, central hudson (a monopoly in the hudson valley owned by canada). It can only be replaced with a publicly owned company
