I got a bunch of old computers off a friend this week which was fun. Got to add another sad laptop to the LAN Party shelf, and also this lil netbook which I convinced to accept 4gb of ram and an SSD after some negotiation. I gave him the good operating system.

Replacing them is not a terribly difficult project either. You can order capacitor kits and a very basic soldering iron is all you need.
PSA if you have an original XBox replace those caps asap!!! Checked mine while doing a SSD install and more are starting to go bad even after I removed the clock capacitor years ago. Can't imagine how many of these have died from bad caps now.
