Why?? Ask yourself why would we want to get in the way of established, long-term, monogamous relationships in which people are legally tied to eachother. The foundation of marriage is not love, it is service. Why would we end people being mutually in service to eachother? Do we no longer value this?

After a 25-hour workday, I'm finally home from this #tsunami response! I have many thoughts to share soon, but most of them come down to "hey, maybe we shouldn't defund the National Tsunami Hazard Mitigation Program, which funds the vast majority of state-level tsunami work in the US!"
