I just learned that a div is UK slang for someone silly or foolish. It's also a monstrous creature according to middle eastern lore. I'm sharing so you can also think about this the next time you open an inspector. You're likely to encounter both there.

I wish the iOS app would preseve my drafts. It's a really big nice-to-have. For someone who is trying to balance real-world relationships with fleeting thoughts it's sort of vital.

Three strikes to the floor is flat platinum. Someone has to use this.
It's so odd how you can sense someone's (or a pet's) presence, even in another room, despite not being able to hear them breathing or moving. It's almost some other level. You mostly notice their absence when they're gone. You can tell you're physically alone. This is a roommate skeet.

Wrote an article about math I use to design and develop interactive experiences for AR/VR. I tried to focus on the practical aspects of it and keep it as simple as possible. Hope you will find it helpful!

It's also a perfect case of bare discrimination. Fencing can often be co-ed. Your opponent's appearance is obscured. Size confers no meaningful advantage. It only changes strategy. Many women's champions are very short. See this completely unrelated article as proof!

I wonder if we could measurably determine how comma splices affect prompt accuracy... 🤦🏻♀️ Maybe if I had just studied pure math I wouldn't be plagued by these thoughts

Has anyone else had trouble with videos refusing to play on iOS 26? It's been like this for a couple weeks. I get the grayscale play button with a slash through it. Seems pretty universal across media types.

After three rounds of the agent failing at using the test tool with 128, then 256, and finally 512mb... The LLM chose 4GB. This is some future we live in.

Wow, the quality difference 🤩 I can't remember who, but long ago I saw someone do side-by-side comparisons where they uploaded an image to various platforms, then copied the uploaded output and uploaded it to other platforms to demonstrate the effect of repeated, varied compression. Truly metal. 🤘

You know what? PHP actually has a lot of wonderful parts. You just have to crawl through the darkness before you find them. I'm not sure how redeeming that is. It's such a weird language.

Many comments on this article are suggesting the NYT is irresponsible for publishing this. These people are fools so desensitized to the failure of our leaders that they'll blame the journalists when we're standing among the rubble.
