It's very telling they needed more time in development of the game to properly test and plan everything out. We're seeing them trying to develop and balance the game on the fly. It's quite obvious if you remember how incremental the difficulty increase was in world in comparison & felt intentional.

What I mean is: don't blame yourself for what is a rational, logical response to feeling like you have no control. Whether it's "just" anxiety or the anxiety is a result of another thing, your mind is just trying to help you the best way it knows how.

After doing a bunch of therapy we realised my tendency to overanalyze was due to living my entire life as an undiagnosed autistic person trying to exert control over a chaotic world where people's reactions are unpredictable. Especially with my tendency of being socially difficult to understand.

I agree the person was being combative about it especially if they repeated their question like that. I think you're also justified in feeling like you were attacked socially in that moment. I relate super hard to overanalyzing social situations and I'd probably felt the same you did.

My buddies generally call me ghost, yes. I've had the monicker since around 2008 or so but I do have other nicknames too. I prefer they/them but pronouns aren't that important to me personally as in my native language all pronouns are genderless. No strong associations one way or another for me.

I draw or otherwise engage with art making most of my waking hours, on the exception of taking a few days off every now and then due to health reasons. It would be difficult to give an estimate. If I'm awake, I'm probably making something.

It's difficult to gauge. Mostly I leave replies (like today) when I'm well enough to do so. Mutuals have a lower hurdle for sure, but I do also overthink if my input is welcome or not. Things are stressful enough as they are in the world right now. I'm socially clumsy, don't want to add any stress.
