I used classic shell to get the look I wanted in Windows 11. It still isn't exactly what I was looking for, but it is certainly close enough that I think I can work with it.

After this and a debloater app, it actually feels a little better.

Technically, it was three figures...

As a lifelong "Upper Left Start Menu" kind of guy, Windows 11 locking the taskbar to the bottom of the screen irks me in ways I cannot begin to describe.

Sure there are tons of things to be upset with Windows 11 about. The taskbar is absolutely unforgivable.
