It's hard to overstate just how far backwards the Ford government has taken us on climate.

The rest of the world is using the shift toward renewables to generate jobs and prosperity, meanwhile the Premier has no plan at all.

This is a complete dereliction of responsibility by the Ford regime. The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks acknowledged that it has no plan to mitigate the impacts of climate change or to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

I’ve reported on the Doug Ford gov’t’s environmental record for 7 years and I remain concerned that Ontario’s only climate plan is a 2018 draft the auditor says isn’t evidence-based — and the gov’t now admits it won’t release a new plan or set stronger emissions-reduction targets
