I've been thinking for a while that hard-right thugs violently going after "antifa", or after anyone pointed at by Trump, is now way more likely as he has effectively destroyed the DOJ. Local cops are scared of his admin and some support it. There's nothing to stop rando hard-right violence now.

That is, the DOJ/FBI will not pursue investigations against Trumpian militias or other armed creeps attacking Trump's designated targets. There was some deterrence before; there were efforts to prevent these people from acting in the first place.

And it's now been just under one month since we saw a far leftist murder Charlie Kirk. And we saw thousands upon thousands of people, other far leftists and people in positions of authority, people like nurses and pilots and doctors and HR departments celebrating the death and the murder of Charlie Kirk.
