Good point. But the stadium didn’t give Colin Kaepernick a microphone to have him say “fuck America” over the speakers. The speaker said “fuck Israel.” You can agree with that if you like. I found it offensive and off message. It isn’t nonsense.

Because it wasn’t a rally in support of a free Palestine. I wouldn’t go to such a rally but defend your right to have one and to say whatever you want at one.

I’m not in Israel. This wasn’t about Putin’s war in Ukraine either. Nothing cutesy wootsy about No Kings. You don’t like my complaint, fine. Did you attend a rally today? I wasn’t there to protest Israel.

There’s plenty that unifies opposition to Trump: His subversion of the constitution, the gestapo tactics of ICE, his grift and corruption, strong-arming of universities, media & law firms… take your pick. “Free Palestine” is not a message that fits No Kings. It precedes Trump. It will outlast Trump.

Good crowd for #NoKings rally in downtown Orlando but it felt hijacked by an anti Israel speaker under a huge Free Palestine banner. Not the place. Not the moment at all. It was divisive and offensive. Why can’t opposition stick to a core unifying message? We left very soured by it

This is the very definition of fascism. It’s murder. Duterte in the Philippines was charged with crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court for killing drug dealers with no trial.

This is so sad. New College was such a special place for the most high achieving, brilliant students who didn’t want the huge football school with frats and sororities. Nothing wrong with those big schools but New College was an oasis for thinkers and scholars. My daughter’s second choice behind NYU
