I saw Tom Stoppard once on the street and quickly explained who I was (he was friends with our Mom and our great aunt Margie) and he was lovely, and sent off a note to my mom telling her how charming I was. This story is to prove how KIND he was. And probs a good liar. LOL) @djrothkopf.bsky.social
Remembering the many kindnesses, humor and warmth Tom Stoppard offered my family and especially my Mom. And of course, his unique brilliance and courage as a playwright and screenwriter. A great loss.
