i wanted to elaborate more on this b/c the ao3 bots are an invisible issue in fandom if you're not a writer or on writer-focused sites often. i see this affecting lots of people, it sucks, and it plays into a broader trend of devaluing human creativity that fucks everyone over. here's the details:
this is wonderful! idk if readers in fandom have seen how comment culture on ao3 has gotten so bad due to bot/AI comments lately, ranging from trolls trying to shame/insult authors into deleting fic to false compliments that lead to art scams.

I once heard Markiplier (of all people) said it best: if you use AI for creating, you will quickly get bored of it, because you're enamored with the effect, not the process. The love and need for the process of creation (however long, hard and grueling it may be) is what makes an artist.

Y'shtola/Lyse/V'rhaka is a very fun dynamic to me because Lyse gets two *very* different mage girlfriends to fawn over
I still have yet to decide if/when shtola and v'rhaka actually become an item but them having Lyse in common i think would make them at least friends

Every time I feel finances start to tighten I look over at my copy of fire emblem fates special edition and wonder how much money i can get for it
