the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

I really wanted to be a marine biologist but my brain isn't good at math so I went into art school debt instead~☆ Was never really sure what I wanted to do with art but ended up trying to break into storyboarding for tv animation post college (I didn't have the skill or money to live in LA).

Sometimes I think about the first time I played the Mass Effect Trilogy and my ass didn't realize you could be male Shep or Fem Shep (and Jennifer Hale's makes it the obvious choice) so I played ME1 as male Shep and then trans'd to Fem Shep because I desperately needed to romance Garrus.
