Sculpting is for sure a blast and I miss it! Been meaning to take on some personal projects to get back to it. Mixing styles is a fun challenge as well!

It depends! For the first personal Stylized House project there was a lot of sculpting involved.

For HKIA assets I mostly box-model low/high in Maya with some sculpting every now and then. Especially if it involves nature.

Took a small break from the grey of blocking out to work on something a little more colourful. An idea I had for an interchangeable hammer/axe. Complete with nails and clay wedges for splitting sturdier wood and soft stone. #gameart #indiedev #b3d #substancepainter

Alternates angles of the hammer and axe configurations in addition to a close up of the haft and demonstration of the hammer head when unused and suspended from a metal loop.

Close up renders of the perforated parchment strips and metal clips used to contain the nails and wedges. The intention is that they can be attached to the carpenter's clothing allowing them to be reached easily when working atop large scale constructions.
