Life is really funy when you not only realize that you gave yourself a nickname based off a guy from a cartoon you liked when you weren't even ten yet, but also that you've been repulsed by your own anatomy your whole fucking life so much that it makes certain aspects of life very difficult.

At the top of this tower in Osaka is one of Japan's more interesting gods--Billiken, the God of Things As They Ought to Be.
Rubbing his feet is said to bring good luck. I love the omnipresent THINGS AS THEY. Miyuki and I made a pilgrimage there once. I still carry Billiken's omamori with me.
