A banner composed of four different drawings of mine. The first is my Kingdom Hearts Union Cross character back-to-back with young Xehanort as Keyblades float around them. The second is an illustration of Noctis from Final Fantasy 15 made for an Irish folklore AU; he is looking up towards a bright light, the scene sectioned into color and colorlessness. The third drawing is of two versions of my KHUX character, one asleep with a smile and the other cradling the first's face with their left hand while they clutch their own face with their right, eyes wide between their unnaturally red fingers. The final image is a monochrome drawing of Joseph Oda from The Evil Within, his expression tense as he looks down over his shoulder towards the light.

I had to entirely re-export this. I drew it nine years ago and the files were corrupted.

It was funny opening up the old files and seeing how different my priorities were and how many basic mistakes I was making.

This sequence was my baby back then and I remember being so proud of it.

I forgot to include the link to my post about the process. The left & right borders went through quite a few iterations before landing on the night forest scene. I agree it's the strongest, but I'm still fond of the other four passes.

An illustration for the fanfiction "Besmirched." The main central scene shows Gladiolus and Noctis standing on a beach and reaching for each other's hand. Before them, in the blue distance, is the Forbidden Island of Angelgard and the full moon casts a light that seems to make a path to it. From beyond the borders of the piece, Shiva's icy hand holds a ring between her thumb and forefinger which frames the moon in the scene. There is a border which is filled mostly with the body of a serpent, twisted in knots; the serpent nearly reaches its own tail except that the Oracle's Trident divides it with an over-sized Ring of the Lucii looped around its center. At the top of the border where Shiva's hand is, are two stylized dogs, one light and one dark; Shiva obscures most of the light dog while the dark one, Umbra, can be seen clearly. Between the two dogs is the wooden tablet used in the story to deliver messages. There is a layer of frost where Shiva's hand passes over the body of the serpent.

The thing about people in prison is that they have all the time in the world on their hands and dont know how to spend it because there is not much to do in this place. A lot of guys succumb to the hardness and get lost in the sauce in a way with negative things. That is the 70% of offenders that keep coming back. The 30% is the guys that are doing productive things with their time like working, attending groups an classes, working on the real issues they struggle with and ART. I have a huge passion for art and I do my classes with anyone who has the desire to have fun. I would rather be in prison living the way I am living now Sober and clear minded for the rest of my life than go back to the way I was living when I was on the street. I do not have life without parole I get out in about 6 years but I feel freer than I have ever felt in my whole life. Thanks again. The main focus is building out a budget for writing about the games and contributors in the zine.

Other people (pizzapranks.com/10-indiepoca...) and I (pizzapranks.com/features/) have done this in the past, but cons have taken the I would use for this and would like it to be a consistent thing.

Yeah, definitely the same DNA, especially in this track since it loops & there's this sort of minimalist approach to the different components where each one is clear & strong, taking turns in the spotlight. The instrument change from the synth voices to just the flute around 1:30 gets me every time.
