Character growth is reducing the argument of a 25pg paper you wrote in grad school, but never published, down to 242 words (and a 122 word footnote) for an essay you're working on.

This week (unintentionally) I am teaching Patrology (Richard of St. Victor, Julian of Norwich, John Calvin, Janet Martin Soskice) in my Intro to Christian Thought course, and in Queer Theology, I am teaching Mary Daly.

notice how after ilhan omar was attacked by a maga true believer parroting donald trump, the mainstream media didnt kick off a multi-day orgy about how trump and other republicans need to change their tone and "lower the temperature"?

that discourse only goes one way for the msm.

"Who's city is it Chief?
Bovino: "It's our fucking city."

And that, in a nutshell, is the problem. It is not a democracy when men with guns and uniforms believe they have more control over a city than its residents.
Seems like a good video for his trial

In theater. So they think they’re at war.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

Remember when they told us they were only interested in removing (ie censoring) books that are “obscene” and “harmful” to children?

They lied. 😑

Binged “Heated Rivalry” in 2 days. Emotional wreck. But it’s nice that we’ve turned a corner in mainstream queer stories away from trauma and violence and rejection. The closet and fear, yeah, but not trauma.

And that Crave didn’t fade-to-black on the sex scenes, which is rare for non-indie stuff.

And as several theologians and religious studies scholars have noted, what that student did — lazily waving in the direction of the Bible, never even citing Scripture much less delving into it — would’ve gotten an F In their courses.

She’s not a victim.

Latin motets in this service (like the Bruckner Ave Maria being sung now) are a Daniel Hyde innovation since 2021. #9LC

These are not carols! This is a big deal! The tradition continues to innovate.
